WHAT HAPPENED

What People Said

What mattered most wasn't the project. It was the people.

“Great job Steve, you’re more than a friend to our country.  You’re truly one of us ❤️”

“Congratulations on what you’ve achieved in the past two weeks. So pleased to see Rotary involved.”

What I'm Doing Now

Exploring new funding opportunities to expand Connect Rwanda’s impact to more schools—working alongside Rotary (RCKV) to scale what’s already working.

We’re beginning to develop a coffee import initiative as a sustainable fundraising model—connecting communities in Rwanda directly to supporters in the U.S.

At the same time, I’m staying closely involved with APACOPE and New Star Youth Academy, helping ensure the technology, training, and momentum continue to move forward.

One of the most exciting shifts is integrating AI into the classroom—working directly with school leadership to use tools like ChatGPT to support teaching, learning, and long-term growth.

This isn’t a finished project. It’s an evolving system.

Where This Is Going

This isn’t a finished story.  It’s the next chapter.

What’s happening in Rwanda—through relationships, education, and the early use of AI—is starting to connect into something bigger than any single trip.

For me, this is what Steve Connected is about.

Exploring how curiosity, connection, and technology can come together in real life—one place, one relationship, one step at a time.

If you’re curious where this goes…

Follow the journey.
